Mesotherapy Pain Management Treatment
Mesotherapy Pain Management
Dr. Michel Pistor, the creator of mesotherapy, initially used this intradermal injection technique to treat a patient with sensorineural hearing loss. The patient also had an eczema dermatitis of the outer ear. Although the hearing improved minimally, the dermatitis resolved. Trigeminal neuralgia and orther myofascial aglias were soon treated successfully and mesotherapy pain treatments and pain related medical conditions became a focus of medical attention. Pistor's initial work has evolved into treatments for a spectrum of medial conditions including:
- Migraine headaches
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Sports injuries
- Painful Arthritis
- Pain attacks
- Fibromyalgia
Dr. Jennings combines MesoPain management techniques with 20 years of clinical experience as a sports medicine doctor and team physician. Dr. Jennings is a Charter Member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
Pain management has emerged in the United States as an important aspect of treating chronic diseases. Mesotherapy intradermal injections may be used successfully for trigger point, disc-dermatome regional treatment, facet blocks, and myofascial pain treatments.
Recent published research studies focused on the restorative potential of hormone replacement therapy combined with progressive muscle resistance strengthening exercise regimens in elderly men. Additional research addresses genomics insights to the gene action of muscle energy up-regulation and catabolism down-regulation during exercise in a similar patient study group.
